Here are the positives:
- Excellent graphics and animations (XBOX 360)
- History / credible scenario
- The high quality sound (music and sound effects)
- Lara Croft!
- Loads almost nonexistent time (beautiful technical prowess)
The Bad:
- Limited Lifetime (12h to complete the game ...)
- Repetitive and imprecise QTE
- Game quite dirigiste / linear and falsely open
- Too simple Riddles
- Surface Exploration (and I do not even talk about survival ...)
- Standing beside Lara becomes victim (super) heavy in the long run
What disappointed me most in this installment of Lara Croft is that I have at no time felt the "solitude" of the early episodes, the adventurer who has the sensation to discover places for the first time. It was through exploration phases mistrust while drawing his weapon. Here, we advance, we encounter 10/15 wolves early and then nothing ... Just a few crabs, chicken and other harmless wild boars. The most common enemy? The man ... Sometimes dozens.
Basically, I think we have to be nostalgic, a hitch in need of a new episode and / or completely new to the Tomb Raider universe to enjoy this episode.
I still ended on an optimistic note: overall experience remains quite pleasant even if one remains clearly hungry after the final credits.
