I've bought the last year in quite quick succession a few Seiko watches after I had turned my back on quality rather disappointed by a "luxury brand". After the first "test purchase" confirmed soon that you get here for a reasonable money presentable clocks in good quality and also good optical impression. This model is no exception - on the contrary. At first glance, the clock has a slight (and certainly not entirely unintentional ;-)) resemblance to a model of the premium manufacturer Fortis and you can be sure that watch lovers are the one time or another interested tilt your head to take a closer look to catch on the timer! It's a solid and quite large running clock with beautiful pergestrahltem housing. The whole pressure-tight to 10 bar, ie normal for water sports (swimming, snorkeling, sailing) without any danger usable. The dial is laid out very instrumental (in the manner of a pilot watch) and very easy to read, even though it initially seems quite busy with the three sub-displays. But this is deceptive - the readability is as I said very good. So if you want even "try" when it comes to feel / look a slightly larger clock without equal spending a fortune for a mechanical version, which is hereby well advised. And although sometimes frowned upon, so a quartz movement has stop nevertheless the advantage of very high accuracy. I for one carrying the various Seiko's recently with a lot of joy. Inexplicable is only why Seiko regularly does not offer this and many different models in Germany. But what's the Internet ... The same model is available also entirely in stainless steel (also with steel band); iP it is also true that stated above. I have allowed myself for fun both models, which I now wear alternately depending on the occasion. Conclusion: Both highly recommended!
