It is packaged in one piece, well protected by wrapping paper and "Caution fragile" by a - in label. Only the box was probably too low, there is still on top glued an extra piece of cardboard.
The bird house is bigger than I thought, it smells as if you only are brushed it with wood preservatives directly before packing. I'll even paint it again, so that really is the zoom weatherproof glaze at all locations. It would be a shame to the beautiful house if it would be limp soon due to the weather.
The lid of the silo sits on tight, I'm assuming that it will hold up well.
It also has a considerable weight. Massive construction just :-)
As the House proposes a practical test, I will add more. But so far I'm impressed!
And I am firmly convinced that you nowhere, etc. so a house at the hardware store will get at this price!
Addendum: to ensure optimum protection against the weather, I have the bird house again today, treated with wood preservative glaze, color teak. Especially the indoor and subpages not previously treated, and I want to be absolutely sure that the house keeps long. One coat is enough. Now it has to dry thoroughly. If it is fixed, I will also take pictures. It has become somewhat darker through the paint, but still looks very natural.
Addendum: so, it's ready. Since I did not buy the corresponding stand, I've tinkered a bit myself. Fence posts 9x9x150 cm, a bottom protective sleeve, a board as a support for the house, 40x40 cm, marked and cut the outlines with a pencil. A few elbows I have attached a "fixation Help" on the support board, so I can lose weight without screws turn out the bird house at any time. So it can not slip too.
All this now assembled homogeneous, and mounted with bird motif As a finishing touch the post left and right hanging basket holder. Here I can now hang the bird seed etc..
