Yes, she already looks damn good, the black beauty. Personally, I like it much better than the somewhat frumpy-looking Silver X100. The "Special Edition" comes with a pretty leather bag, a black anodized lens hood adapter and including a clear glass protection filter. The comes in handy as a lens protector and makes a cover unnecessary. So much for the outer values. The small X100 provides real Leica feeling of the processing and haptics, and the grandiose Hybrid Viewfinder thrilled at least as much as the measuring-seekers from Solms. This is a camera for good, handmade photograph without time pressure. The image quality is absolutely on SLR level, the built-in prime lens confident in all conditions, even at maximum aperture. The Bokeh is just beautiful, sharpness and contrast are top. This is not a camera for beginners or fast clipper, but rather a precision instrument for advanced skiers. The operation is quite a bit cryptic, different functions will be apparent not the knowledgeable photographer intuitively. When you finally get on with the X100, it delivers stunning pictures, even in the highest ISO range. A great thing for inconspicuous street photography and events.
