First, the device looks solid. On this side, no problem. It supports AA batteries (camera style), AAA (remote style), and 9V.
However, you need to know:
- The batteries (AA & AAA) will recharge in pairs. Only 9V batteries can be recharged in the unit.
- In the user manual, it is written that the red lights turn green after reaching the load. This is WRONG!
Not to gun down the batteries (or sub-charge), so you have an eye on the clock and ...
- The charging time is extremely long (though some would say that it increases the lifetime of the batteries)
AA 2500 mAh = 19h
AA 2300 mAh = 17h
AA 2000 mAh = 15h
AA 1800 mAh = 13.5 h
AA 1500 mAh = 11 h
AAA 600 mAh = 9
9 V 200 mAh = 10h
And when you, as is my case, AAA 1100 mAh, we are in the approximate.
Now you know what to expect.
If this fits your needs, you can buy it.
However, if you regularly need, etc. better perhaps worth investing in a slightly more expensive model.
