The hard shell is ideal for protection against dents on the device, the like may occur at times thin shells. Its predecessor was the inside additionally a relatively thick pad that sadly is noticeably thinner in this release. The zipper is also sharp-edged than the last model. This makes it a little too dangerous to put this envelope in a leather briefcase, because I fear abrasion.
Otherwise I'm still propagated convinced that this is the best sheath that currently exists for my Mac.
The following two things must be observed when unpacking:
- The smell is strong initially, fades after about 1 week, however.
- The upholstery in the interior possesses by the method of production lots of small holes in which small black plastic fibers have tangled. I first placed the envelope open on the floor and a couple of times hewn well on top. The small fibers fall out of it. After this procedure, I could not find that still something came out of the small opening.
