The camera has been discussed in full detail here and here I will not write a complete review, but bring a few subjective aspects. I want to preface that I'm really excited by the camera - also because I realize that there is an entry-level model from which one can not expect all the bells and whistles offered by the flagship product line. That is why none of my critical remarks lead to a devaluation. You get here just a lot of fun for the money.

Feel:

Accessories:
Lenses for this camera do not need a stabilizer, because already one is in the camera. Accordingly, foreign manufacturers omit the stabilizer for the Sony version of their lenses (partially?). This is the objective - naaaa ?! - Precisely: expensive! Why? I do not know ... Well okay, who shop around times, sees that everybody walks around with Nikon and Canon cameras. All other trademarks are the SLR (jaaaaa: and SLT) range compared exotics. A 1,8er 50mm fixed focal length there is accordingly at Canon for (as of today) 92, at Nikon for 110 and Sony for 151 euros. Tip: Might be worth to look before you need it all - and then to make the price comparison for the whole package.

Technology:
I know someone who wanted to buy a mobile phone. A few details:
a) The menu was considered by some as confusing - I find it very thoughtfully. Many important functions can be reached relatively quickly and easily. Obviously, you can still two, three assignable buttons longer want - me as deleting multiple images could be slightly less cumbersome - that you come here with a click on the white balance, ISO-adjustment, exposure compensation, and with another button (the Fn key) in a quick menu for numerous other settings. Adjacent keys have different shapes - an increase in the blind operation.
b) Continuous: The advertised 8 frames per second go only in a certain mode, in which the resolution is automatically reduced to 5 megapixels. Tested just: that keeps then in JPEG Fine compression 18 images long by (in a first test 13 frames long, class-10 SD card). (Available "normal" modes only) In RAW breaks the speed by four pictures a (same class 10 card). This is now no standardized test and I also have only one card, but good. There should be professional cameras that create the 130 RAW images in series. Maybe I sell my car and buy me such a part. Um no.
c) Electronic Viewfinder: When I looked at a friend for the first time in an electronic viewfinder, I found the image flimmerig and too electronically. Held for about three minutes, the impression. Meanwhile, I can not think that is no longer on - and that my camera's viewfinder image even in very low light (switched off) no matter how lightens that I can recognize my motive, I do not want to miss. d) ISO Auto: The Auto ISO can not limit yourself. Some may find the bad, others say rather a noisy image as a blurred. A matter of taste. Super I find the opportunity yet to take pictures in low light from the hand by a number (actually underexposed) can shoot images with short exposure time and it will charge to a well-lit overall picture camera. e) Short-term Synchro and Depth of Field Preview: With appropriate flash units, the little one can also short-time synchronization. Nice for outdoor portraits.
