I bought it directly from a specified by Sennheiser shop, of course, at list price.
When I read some reviews, I conclude that it still has to be different versions or further developments.
One of my previous example, critics complained about the cable length. My cable is divided into two parts and the extension is absolutely long enough.
If that's not enough, you can buy an even longer extension so easy.
I have the IE 800 only a month and may be a problem of a possible cable stiffening nn final say, but guess that the selected material type can not stiffen.
The fit in the ear is top. I also found for me a suitable attachment, but consider myself to have prepared a suitable pad.
Even if the position of the receiver in the ear (slightly) changed - for example during movements - the sound remains stable.
Ever disappear Höhrer sufficiently far in the ear, so you can fall asleep to this community.
Very important is also the player. All I tested Apple devices seem rather modest. The iPad Air with uncompressed material still sounds best, the iPod Classic rather poor.
My Note Edge with PowerAmp brings all mobile devices the best sound. Best of the IE 800 sound but to a high-quality external sound card of my notebook.
There I also the best, uncompressed material.
I just say to Main Klangbkann: outstanding! But that's always a matter of taste. In any case, it sounds bring to light that I had never noticed before.
