On the one hand you have the iPad is a problem that requires a bracket / stand at the table or in bed, because the iPad is in the long run but unfortunately a bit heavy in the hand.
For the Logitech product is very suitable. Even if the magnet function can only be used in landscape mode, lasts me the iPad 3 in portrait mode but stable, of course, the former variant. The bearing surface on eg a pillow is greater with the Ultra Thin Cover and more stable than many other stands.
Furthermore, I have a very good keyboard and thus can really excel in writing. Another external keyboard in conjunction with an iPad stand, however, is very cumbersome and contradicts actually the handy, practical iPad thoughts.
And last but not least, the keyboard cover replaced a shell or the Smart Cover. These costs also approximately from 30.00 and offer up a maximum of only two functions - protection and possibly stand.
But what disturbs me about many covers is that they integrate the iPad firmly (thus it is then fully protected), but the great Apple design, I then not much. I buy the iPad indeed also for the reason, because it has an excellent design and processing. I would like to see and feel. For those who always want to have an all-around protection from scratches, but I wonder if they even drive your car with the original manufacturer's paint preservatives or possibly have such a "beautiful" stone guard on the hood? Important Only the screen protector and the rest are normal signs of use, as long as you take care of its products.
The surface of the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Covers perfect match for iPad. The weight is acceptable 330 grams.
I paid for the product 90.00 from Amazon. That's not much, but because of the many features in a solution but still acceptable.
Suggestions for Logitech:
- No gloss surface wg. the annoying fingerprints
- Automatic shutdown of the keyboard when not in use
- Cover magnet seemed a bit cheap plastic. Here metal would have been better
- Same charging port as the iPad (but probably legal licensing reasons)
So to sum it a good product that I highly recommend, and currently there is nothing to find on the market better.
