Unpacking:
All packed neatly, velvet bag with cassette for 6 AA batteries, manual in English, the handle himself in bubble wrap. No strong plastic odor.
Feel:
The handle is great in the hand, the materials are super processed. The finish of the surface structure corresponds exactly to the camera.
Function:
All switches, incl. Multi Controller, working like on the camera. The pressure points are almost the same. The multi-controller is mounted a little softer, not hypersensitive, just right.
With a separate on-off switch that controls the handle are released, the camera also works in position off.
For the flap the same shot as the camera is present, just clip it.
The unit with the 2 batteries is secure and safe, wobbles and rattles because nix.
I was absolutely surprised that you get this quality for the price. Have until now always the originals had the cameras.
However, the pricing policy for the original handle of currently 260-300 Euro is an insolence of Canon. Now one can say who can spends so much money on a DSLR take advantage of the Canon is mistaken.
At this point, the saving is attached.
Whether it comes to battery discharges at rest, as reported by other attacks, I will consider and possibly resent the report.
