It was written a lot and in detail in the previous reviews. The positive impression I endorse. That's why I want to take only shortly thereafter. I had tried all the newer Super zooms at home in detail. Each had somewhere glaring weaknesses. The Sony HX400 was indeed in WW super automatics and Sony are unbeatable, but at the telephoto end, the camera was very weak. Canon has also done a lot wrong with the SX60. The AF is slow and the stabilizer also does not work satisfactorily. The Nikon P600 had good to very good image quality, but was too slow in all areas. And now the P900. Very balanced, good image quality up to ISO 800 (in good light) and this incredible zoom, you can really keep in sun out of his hand, and quickly !!!!! The AF is really a quantum leap. Well, now the main criterion: The image quality in the super-telephoto range. Therefore, you can buy such a camera !!! The results are sure nocht as ;-) recognized with a DSLR with 4.0 / 600, but repeatedly assertion, a DSLR with a crop 70-300er would be better, is absolute nonsense. As evidence now some pictures, all from the hand. 1st picture ISO 400 1/320 f5.6 @ 1100mm Photo 2 ISO 160 1/500 @ 1400mm F6.3 3.Image ISO 160 1/500 @ 2000mm (eq.) F6,5 At 2000mm, the images are a bit softer, but which is also the lack of a tripod and the sometimes large distance to the object (a lot of air between them !!) Photo 4 to ISO 100 1/800 @ 200mm f4.5 Here it is striking that bright sections are often represented some area, this should be but be improved by setting the auto contrast.
In my mind, has the whole package. Handy camera with a huge zoom and good image quality!
