Better than expected - not got control LED

Recently gave up my Sony Optiarc 7241 the spirit and so unceremoniously was needed replacement. I would have liked to re-buy a LightScribe-enabled device, no longer receives a yes. Since I use the Samsung drives had little problems earlier and had made very bad experiences with the service life with LG and LiteOn, only the Samsung SH-S224 remained.
Packaged in a neutral cardboard box, just drive and mini-installation instructions and without the Samsung logo on the visor. According to a Samsung label but it was installed afloat, screws and SATA cables I had laid out earlier.
Surprise: drawer moves out very quietly, no rattling. DVD playback with unobtrusive quiet noises, burning worked usual fast, yet reliable and surprisingly quiet.
Bin of the low burner very impressed - only: a small colored indicator light should have been on! Previously the eject buttons were at least at the Samsung lit ....
Therefore, a star deduction for savings in the wrong place!
