Beyerdynamic (a German company) is the manufacturer of this truly fantastic headsets. MMX 300 is the model name.
Man can either buy a ready-made model on the manufacturer's website or here on Amazon, or even individually his own headset in the so-called factory on the Beyerdynamic Website compile (colors and materials). The more you deviate from the standard the more expensive it will be, of course.
It is, however, a variety of colors and even optional two-line laser engraving on the metal bracket available.
More individuality you just can not have in putting together his dream headsets.
"Way too expensive" you will all say, "Because I can every three years a brand new Sennheiser PC360 or similar Buy" you will say.
True ... it is expensive pork, but believe me, it's worth every penny!
I bought and tested (Logitech, Razer, Sony, Medusa, a few months ago even the current Sennheiser PC360) really seen many headsets.
Believe with simple, the MMX 300 Beyerdynamic can none of these producers hold a candle!
I am very pleasantly surprised, what quality materials were used in the MMX 300.
It is very pleasant to the head (no pressure points), the ears are completely enclosed and sealed off from the ambient sound.
I can use my PC fans now running full blast and hear them hardly.
It is a bit warm though already on the ears now in the summer with me in the attic, but the earpieces with velor cover will not stick to the cheeks, such as artificial leather covers some other manufacturers. It is really very pleasant on the skin.
The headset is a very robust construction, real German craftsmanship that will last for many years, I know that already!
Now to the sound:
It has a fantastic sound quality in all frequency ranges ... and so a fat bass that you think you are sitting in a driving disco Ruhr-Deeper VWGolf-hardener-Wide-Asikarre!
That makes listening to music or gaming computer almost twice as much fun!
Man is a sound! Am totally blown wech! Just sooo a headset must listen and not otherwise!
If, for example in first person shooters such as GRAW (Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter) fire a gun, you think the smooth part is actually right in front of one, the sound seems very realistic. Madness!
The microphone is mounted on a gooseneck and well adjusted.
It can be (mounted on the left earpiece) via swivel up / turn down and conduct in the perfect position.
A good windbreak made of foam prevents the transmission of wind noises that arise while exhaling through the mouth or nose.
It has been confirmed that the Micro a very good and crystal clear voice transmission guarantees (Teamspeak2, Teamspeak3, Skype)
Sonically and material technology can not keep up with other manufacturers of headsets.
If you have the opportunity to hear it time trial, take the opportunity and put it on.
You will not believe your ears.
5 year warranty, the manufacturer of the headset and will survive it certainly far.
The ear pads can be of course be backordered, because of case that should fray times.
Conclusion:
If you can afford the money for the 300 Beyerdynamic MMX, it ordered you, you will not regret it.
It is sonically the best headset for listening to music and playing computer games that I have ever had on his head.
A great sound and powerful bass like in the disco await you with this headset.
The materials are high quality, comfortable, easy to carry around on your skin for hours and it's built to last.
Additional:
A volume control or microphone mute one has but in the normal version does not, may also order a controller with USB plug at Beyerdynamic for a small extra charge.
PS:
As soundcard I use the Creative X-Fi Fatality.
I control the volume on my keyboard and the Micro-mute do I control via an external media hub with which I can switch between speakers and headphones.
Music I play on the software Winamp, so can be the treble, mid and bass perfectly by equalizer function to adjust.
I hope my review is helpful to you.
Wish you all a nice day!
Yours sincerely,
Ken
