I do not know if the book is aptly named. Because it does not allow me to determine the intentions of my interlocutor. There certainly descriptions, but there is no explanation of gestures. Very few pictures, and a lot of blah. Nothing didactic. Sometimes examples and again .. A gesture at best be characterized by the individual's position of comfort or discomfort (self-contacts etc.). I hardly learned anything, to me as obvious truths. Big disappointment, thankfully the book is cheap. I learned more in a conference of 1:30 than reading this book. I ordered another by the same author, I hope it will be more interesting and it will bring me more.
