I use this LED light for my desk lamp. This is also Dimmable, humming as I could, as before with halogen, so far unable to determine. The light yield could be slightly better, but since I usually only late at night need at the desk light that's okay. As a working light for the daytime I can light, however not recommend here was needed something stronger.
