As my older notebook has no USB 3.0 ports and I for ext. Storage media wanted to have a faster connection, I bought this PCMCIA card. It fits perfectly in my purely VAIO notebook sysprofile.de/id131740 but looks out on the left side by about 6mm. It can be easily removed. The USB connectors are very loose and can be easily removed. It would be better, especially in mobile use when the connector would rather sit in brisk port.

When I wanted to use to install the latest drivers from the Web. Although I had swollen what what was already very difficult, but this could not use. It is this adapter with a Mini-CD, where all drivers are on it. It makes sense to use these also. The work perfectly.
