Caveat: I come from the Samsung Galaxy S3 and was relatively skeptical about the new generation of mobile phones, because I have the power of the S3 still perceived as "ok". But well, that are 2-year contract rum and some qualitative deficiencies have prompted me turn away from Samsung (GPS Bug - screws thus turning a GPS signal is found, flaking paint, no update to 4.4 ...)
The scope of delivery is quite thin, more than a 1500mAh charger, headphones and the usual mindless mini guides are not included in the box. The packaging itself is not particularly chic - but no matter, the first flies in the closet.
The phone feels extremely thin in hand, at the same time very elegant. The processing can be evaluated only with outstanding. The size of 5.2 inches was quickly forgotten, the transition from S3 was in a few minutes in the blood.
When you start the first one is guided through the settings, a Zusatzapp assumes all settings via WLAN
of the old phone. The home screen loads with many colorful widgets to clean. The handful of bloatware can be uninstalled easily. Free Apps like virus scanners are many useful for me but not relevant. The excellent Garmin Navigon Navi Offline is unfortunately only a 30 day trial.
The Launcher is very simple, basically I had to be able to hide the large icons on the Start menu and the possibility apps an eyesore, so I have resorted back to Nova Launcher. Basically preloaded launcher but satisfactory.
The permanently installed battery is my personal highlight on Z3. With the first charge I have arrived at 18% ... After 50Stunden.
And despite Navi, flashlight, many photos and a few phone calls ... Outstanding good!
The camera was allowed to compete directly against the S5 a friend, Conclusion: photos look a bit cooler on the Z3, in detail, so the near zoom the image,
is relatively equal to the image noise in dark backgrounds. No wonder device so but state of the art. Many types of subjects and gimmicks make the cam very useful, Sony offers directly in the camera's menu to download additional features, very good!
The clarity of the phone you have to praise simply, everything is in its place, nothing needs to be long sought.
The big show-rail does not run Sony, lack of marketing or cool composure? I help Sony times:
1. An operator with gloves can be activated
2. The phone detects when you're home and enabled WLAN (optional)
3. The video player opens a preview if you do not even start the video, an eye-catcher
4. An application identifies the current TV program and gives details about shipment time and possible sequels episode
5. With a Doppeltip on the screen the phone wakes up on request

Everything works extremely reliable, the performance of the mobile phone with its 3GB Ram and the QSD801 a quantum leap compared to the S3, everything runs lightning fast and without any lag.
Currently, the mobile phone is provided with a protective film, the original cover is not available yet - I'm curious, when S5 is a real upgrade.
Recent concerns: the here and now it's a Top mobile, in 2 years will decide the policy update from Sony if I'll stay true to the brand. I am aware that Sony brings out new handsets at frequent intervals, but I do not care. I buy mobile phones when I need you and do not judge me by manufacturer advertising. Keeps the Sony Z3 long with Android updates currently
is ruled out a return to Samsung, Motorola and Co. But the sophistication of this brand new mobile phones as well as the quality of workmanship of the Japanese is too good. I'm missing still root access (I'm fine but with significant limitations) but there is still too recent for the Community can already bring solutions.
To complete this recession: battery, power and quality are the strengths of this phone, that let you forget my doubts. 5 Stars!
Update 19/10/2104: After 2 weeks, use of battery is played warm, on the 3rd day comes my Z3 only to the power outlet - despite plenty of active display time. The frame is further without scratches. The display is one way or another protected by foil. Workmanship I could find none.
Sony has announced that it will supply the complete Z series with Android 5.0. The first Z is likely to have on his back his 2 year olds. If the promises are kept everything is as great or better than in the Android Konkrenz.
