Closure:
Both Shaker close well and absolutely tight. Practically at the Blender Bottle of foldable handle, although I have also never needed to. When SmartShake here supplied carabiner has to be fixed.
Shake features and capacity:
Both models mix absolutely flawless and free of lumps. Try with whey, casein and MKP. Although I have a feeling that the SmartShake his job still makes here a bit better, the Blender Bottle also foams up a bit more. The SmartShake has a removable strainer with small bars for lifting the screen that even halfway in the cover can be fixed. The Blender Bottle has known Siebball. For me personally is the Siebprinzip more. Also, the clatter of the mixing ball in the empty Blender Bottle is not my thing. Furthermore am constantly on the search small metal balls, the thing laying constantly in contrast to the normal screen. I'm curious times when I completely lose my balls.
The filling is absolutely adequate for my needs in both. Who mixes large quantities, eg for Mass Gainer, who perhaps should look at even larger models.
In terms of size (see picture) the Smart Shake is slightly more compact with comparable capacity. From SmartShake there are now also a Slim Edition, when Blender Bottle, the "Sport" variant. In the latter then is but the advantage lost the Supplement subjects at Shaker to assemble itself.
Quality:
Both are BPA-free and very well made. I can not say anything, the SmartShake already holds more than a year without any material weaknesses over the long-term properties of the Blender Bottle. Think the Blender Bottle it will be similar.
Supplement subjects:
Both shakers come bundled with two screw-on "Stacks". Here I find the Blender Bottle variant good, but compared to SmartShake bit fiddly. When Blender Bottle only a lid must be screwed, which then acts as a thread on the shaker itself. This has the advantage that theoretically any number of subjects can be "stacked". When SmartShake can the container very simply screw directly, but is limited to a maximum of the two supplied. As far as I know there are at SmartShake - in contrast to Blender Bottle - not even the possibility zuzukaufen additional subjects and the shaker so still expanding.
Both come with a smaller stack and a slightly larger container. The taller you require for a post-workout whey powder, the smaller it is already scarce. If you still need carbohydrates, you have to almost resort to the second container, it is quite narrow.
I have not measured it now, but I believe the larger box at SmartShake more volume capacity than that of the Blender Bottle.
Good solution in Blender Bottle is the additional container for tablets, which is screwed into the lid of the container stack. When SmartShake the smaller containers must be "sacrificed", there is only one usable separation cross made of plastic.
Blender Bottle advantage is that each container can be individually closed with a lid (eg for individual transport), but also because you have to otherwise it can not be attached to the cup itself.
Thus a small advantage with respect. Flexibility for the Blender Bottle, for easier handling when SmartShake.
Summary:
Both really great Shaker, I also like to use.
For compactness and simplicity wins the SmartShake for me. In terms of flexibility of Blender Bottle wins.
