Of course, the last cry cars already have Bluetooth car stereos and accompany the latest technological advances. At worst, a USB input and a slot for an SD card can do the trick to store on a small piece of plastic hours of music.
But some, the poor, must be content of a good basic car radio with, at best, a CD player. Top notch: the steering wheel! If that impressed the ladies in the early 2000s, now they are jaded and want quune thing disseminate their sound from their phone to vehicle interior. Otherwise, they no longer mount in the vehicle. What is true for women also applies to men. We are the generation with blue teeth quon or not. So what to do?
Two solutions:
- Change cars
- Acquire FlexSmart
- (Divorce is another option that I not névoquerai more detail here)
The FlexSmart is a Bluetooth receiver that connects to the so-called cigarette lighter of the car (if you nen not, your case is definitely desperate, buy a bike instead). In doing so, it also charges your mobile phone to the help of its USB port and included cable. This is lovely, in the sense that it occupies the socket normally occupied by car chargers.
Until then, nothing dextraordinaire. The magic happens now. The unit can then broadcast the stream from bluetooth dun dune smartphone or tablet on an adjustable radio frequency. If your car radio is set to that frequency, and that it is not occupied by a radio market then, oh, miracle, car radio uses the stream broadcast by the device and propagates through the audio system. In summary, the FlexSmart simulates a radio, whose content is freely chosen by you. Indeed, you come to understand: you're radio programmer. The dream of a lifetime has finally come true!
Among the good news: it works perfectly well. In addition to music, you have of a hands-free kit to answer or make phone calls. A small microphone is available on the FlexSmart and touch buttons to answer a call or ignore it.
Keys navigate in the playlists, automatically seek a frequency available (without parasites FM radio waves) and increase or decrease the volume.
In addition to the detailed manual, a tiny postage stamp size to guide summarizes the key functions. Really great idea: it is always in my car, stuck between a sweet and Total supermarket trolley token!
This device has one potential problem inherent in the way it works. On long trips it can prove necessary to have to change the broadcast frequency, changes in geographic areas causing changes in available frequencies. In very dense diffusion zones (I think the Paris region), it can prove difficult to find a clear frequency (tbc).
But nen remains quite usable. Jai crossed France and part of Spain and if I had to adjust the rate every 45 minutes for maximum comfort, the benefits largely eclipsed the disadvantages.
The occurrence of pests (brr, commercial radio) is mainly felt by defects on whistling, which make us jump a few years back and remind us of our childhood K7 radios.
If lusage is limited to a specific geographical area, for commuting home / work for example, no such adjustment nest to predict.
Personally I find this small concentrate really great and amazing technology and I am also a frequent use than my car.
