I was a bit skeptical to read some criticism that it was not very effective. I confess I do use it quoccasionnellement but for me it does not hurt shaves. He shaves also much better than the same brand model sector and identical system, which I already had. Cutting the grid (more sophisticated) is may be the reason. But there is an extra razor, and he did not let the beard too long or too hard.
