This is a historical novel that I like! From the action, breath, a plot combining real events of fiction, colorful characters (we came across Charlemagne anyway!) And some very endearing, although sometimes ambiguous, as Alcuin of York. The few six hundred pages read quickly, as we are caught by the story and so writing 'Antonio Garrido is effective, not letting it breathe player between intrigues and twists. This young Theresa was not without fearlessness, of authenticity, nor catch. With Helga Black, they are the only two real female characters of the novel, but they take their place beautifully (chronic written on March 8, Women's Day !! ') A historical period often evoked little but very complex, mixing politics and religion inextricably (which n''a not changed much in certain parts the moment! And knows what damage ... ') J''ose hope qu''Antonio s''en Garrido will not stop there and in the near future will offer us again a piece of his pen !!
