My old PC was overwhelmed with the cut of HD video (1080p). A new was due.
I chose (wen it gets when reading this review wondering ;-) the i7-2600 from Anchorman. Not least because of the good reviews.
Current video applications (cutting and conversion) offer quick DirektX11 graphics because they can outsource these operations. Therefore, the system should also have a decent GraKa.
My expectations were more than fulfilled.
1. Super Fleet Delivery. Monday night ordered, delivered Thursday.
2. Very well packaged.
3. The workmanship is very good. Everything fitted very neatly.
4. work pace is awesome.
5. Even with load barely audible.
6. Exclusively brand components.
7. Connections without end (rear, front, top ...).
The cables inside the box are fixed with a myriad of cable ties. It did me almost sorry when I had to aufknipsen the cable tie to get to power cables for an extra plate and my BD drive.
That would be my only wish: please a few power cables to be easily accessible (and possibly fix the 3.5 "and 5:35" bays). I had to remove almost all cable ties. But that's really just a blemish. The green "Alien" lighting I find a bit silly. We'll see where you can switch off the ;-))
The graphics card is as already described in other reviews delivered separately and must still be installed. That should make anyone before too many problems.
Tip: the two red, square connector (these are the only ones that are not fixed) are used as a power supply for the graphics card.
My video editing is now running in real time. Several 1080 / 50p streams can be parallel mix in real-time, add 3D transitions without the buffer is less. All without rendering. A Dream !! Also convert video happening now at a breathtaking pace.
Not unimportant, if you still want to connect a DV camera:
The board has a FireWire interface. Here you can still a camcorder via FireWire / IEE1394 connect. Today this is no longer taken for granted.
Connections there is more than enough. What the description does not exactly apparent: At the front, behind a "sliding door" eSATA and headphone jacks are USB2.0 and 3.0, installed.
In 3.5er bay you will find a multi-card reader and another USB port.
I can only recommend the PC in this configuration. I play anything (except Solitaire and Spider). But I got my PS3. Therefore, the last ounce of graphics performance is not important for me. But the GTX560 will suffice even the most demanding gamers.
Many thanks to the anchor man team. Good Work!
