The LED lights are very bright. I have used them as a replacement for the halogen lamp in the hood. Since the transformer in the hood apparently a higher minimum load than 8W I left a halogen lamp with 20W it and only three replaced (if I only had LED lights in it, they have slightly flared). Alternatively, I could replace the transformer against a LED transformer, but would give up making the effort. This was a trial order. I am satisfied with the lamp, I have today ordered that the bedside lamps, a desk lamp and wall lamps in the stairwell. On the package the way is only 2W on it, I have not measured how much they actually consume.
