I'm going to save me in the following review the description as a Powerball basically works, because that has been covered in other reviews and the product description enough. I focus mainly specifically to this model. I must, however, generally mention that absolutely everyone I've pushed the ball once in the hands responded with an expression of blank astonishment - they do not trust a small plastic ball a dermaßene force, and the magic of these devices is that the ball exactly your own physical strength adapts - the stronger you are and the more you shake him, the more he gives counterpoint. I am sure that we have all learned the principles of centrifugal time in physics, but when a seemingly harmless plastic Nekatrine has suddenly developed the forces of an adult bulldog sure everyone first stunned.
I already possessed a Powerball which is then somehow got lost me a few years ago. As I sit a lot in front of the computer and yearn during breaks for a small change I noticed the Powerball again and I decided me again to appoint one. At first I wanted a simple basic model without frills, but since the price had fallen recently below 20 and me partout no other, cheaper products invaded by more than 20 to be eligible for the free shipping I attacked just for this model. I was initially a little skeptical whether the lights and the tachometer would act not silly - but I was surprised postitiv.
The ball looked in the photos for me somehow something very plastic-like, and even if it is mostly made of plastic it is still very good in the hand, robust and almost "juicy" - I would tap times as a layman on good ABS plastic .Before all the LEDs look really great - when it gets dark I walk now like from time to time with the Powerball in one hand through the apartment and rooms with the other hand a little on what has to look for the neighbors than I would powern me up for a Street Fighter-esque fireball attack. The LEDs are driven by a solenoid, which means you do not have to buy new batteries every few weeks as I had first feared. Alone to create this beautiful light effect makes the rotation already fun, and a certain childlike enthusiasm I could not resist. I have some little wackige photos posted to hopefully be able to show reasonably well.
Also, the tachometer is absolutely top: In the new version you can see the current speed, the total had already been carried revolutions (like a car odometer in the car), the highest previous record speed and three "Time Attack" modes for 30, 60 and 90 display seconds. I have not tested all the features, but at least the total revolutions and the rotation records are stored. To get for me as an old video gamers a completely new aspect: constantly improve my points! It's just totally fun especially the tip rotation repeatedly to crack, so get training with the ball an exciting competition character, and the training results can be configured with hard numbers. Only the "current speed" is a bit pointless, because you have to keep the ball calmly to read the display. All other data but can be read after each session - for example, a tip rotation value has been surpassed, the display blinks for some time afterwards.
Einiziges shortcoming would be that the display a little uncomfortable sitting in the palm of your hand when you hold the ball in the instructions - my solution is that I just the other way around holding the ball, with the display to the outside and the open rotor in hand. I was there initially a bit worried whether me at the speeds not the skin is gefetzt of the palm if the rotor accidentally should even touch my palm, but some tests have shown me that it is absolutely harmless and painless, at least for my turns.
All in all, the LEDs and especially the display much more than just affige gimmicks - they raise the entertainment and training value of the ball tremendously and are paying extra absolute value. So an already unique training device is again improved sense. Especially the price is absolutely appropriate - for a well-made device with a long warranty and such a high fun and sport potential, I would have paid the original price without a second thought. And who knows, if I continue to improve myself is eventually purchasing one of these lovely metal balls to power. Quite as drastic as with Akis it must me not to be, but the Powerball is currently one of my favorite "adult toys".
