After insertion into the lamp and turn on the light is available immediately without delay with constant brightness. The light may not really be warm-white, but rather pure white, which does not really bother me. But they do not has the disturbing me normally blue tone with other energy saving lamps.
The brightness at specified 4 Watt is approximately as expected. The previously used old standard bulb with 40 Watt achieved a little more brightness. ME is (felt) the 4W E14 by Lighting EVER 15% darker than the old bulb.
The actual power consumption I checked by an EM600 (not calibrated). Lt. Specifying the meter consumes 4.5 watts lamp. That's not as good as the previous with me in use of lamps Lighting EVER, but is in the range that I know of other replacement lamps. It is actually more used than specified.
The indication of the average lamp life of 50,000 hours I regard as very confident and far more than a conventional light bulb old. With a 24-hour continuous operation which is almost 6 years. In realistic operating as a television lamp 3 hours per day which is about 45 years. Accordingly, I should survive the lamp at my current age :-)) I'm going to inherit most likely (as the others).
The candles version is still good value to me as a replacement to the old 4 star bulb.
