Some time ago I bought these energy-saving lamp in a supermarket as a bargain price.
Since I had previously bought mostly new LED bulbs, I was out here by a significant price advantage. - Unfortunately, I then became clear only after the purchase that it is probably already an estimated price reductions of 25 to 50% - had acted, energy saving light bulbs but significantly cheaper than LED lights are.
Still, I had it now, and used them.
Meanwhile, it is likely to be 3 4 Monte in use, and I'm even impressed by the pleasant light.
Assembly:
the lamp can be very good fit, a little more complicated than conventional bulbs, because they can not touch the glass (breakage, injury, even slight risk of poisoning (by existing heavy metal), but you must screw on the base.
In addition, it is slightly longer than a comparable incandescent bulb so you have to see if it really fits; which will probably be the case in most cases.
The stable base is solid and makes a good impression.
Appearance:
well, so it's not as pretty as a conventional, and also with the LED and energy-saving lights, which have a lamp glass, they can not keep up. - She looks rather like a fluorescent tube in brief from. - But if it is covered by a lampshade, it does not stand out.
Consumption:
compared to a similar bright LED lamp it needs twice as much power, but what is of course with regard to the replacement of conventional light 75 W still clearly less: it needs 14 W, an LED lamp would require approximately 7 11 Watt (cost of acquisition as well as the 3 5-fold).
Measured I have not consumption, but hope that the manufacturer's instructions right.
Light structure:
the lamp is turned on, immediately comes perhaps 50% of the light and within a minute are 100% light output there.
Initially bothered me that, but it can also be useful, since the 50% do not (so) dazzle, and your eyes can adapt better.
Light color:
the light of this lamp with 2500 K is really yellow, really deep yellow, almost back to yellow. - Yes, compared to the conventional light bulb, it is mainly to steady yellow: normal bulbs give weaker and more varying from yellow light. - This energy saving lamp bathes everything in a uniform (intensive) yellow. - It is used to.
Illumination:
compared to the used by me four LED lights, this energy-saving lamp is the best when it comes to illumination backwards. - The LED lights of the base is more of a light barrier, a wall, the little, or even leaves in the backcourt of the lamp only scattered light.
The OSRAM DULUXSTAR in this version brings a lot of light to the rear, not quite as much as forward or lateral, but significantly more than the LED lights. - That's pretty comparable to conventional bulbs.
Forward it is also good, like other lamps too.
Sound:
unfortunately hums the lamp in front of him. - At the beginning of bothered me, now I got used to it, and hear it only now and then consciously.
Nevertheless: for living spaces you should consider whether you want the ripple concert.
Conclusion:
with the OSRAM DULUXSTAR 14 W energy-saving lamp is a good piece of German art development before (because it is made lt. Packaging in China).
It lights beautifully (intensive) yellow, consumes little power, and is a good source of light.
Would she even forget the hum and the heavy metal contained (mercury / energy-saving lamps in all of this type here) to get rid of, it could become a more wohnraumverträglicheren and even more environmentally friendly lamps.
