Material: synthetic leather. Smells the beginning unpleasant, evaporates (on what) over time from. My recommendation: leave a few days in the fresh air.
Processing: is neat. All seams look very solid, including the reading light and the bracket which holds the LED lamp on the back cover. The cover of the button cell is quite thin and leaves a small gap.
Fit: Here you have to make a few compromises. The Kindle does not sit quite tight in there and like moves, especially if you work out the left side of the book cover to the rear. Then he slips away through the flip (the Right) to the left. This is also due to the very narrow and slightly curved cover on the left side. The holding nothing. Can you recognize prima to the customer image. Another small detail is the reading lamp. It is locked in place by the integrated leatherette hook, thereby however shifted slightly to the right and then sitting not quite centered. However, not really disturbing.
Reading Light: The LED light has the light color cold white. So perfect for the Kindle. Is securely stowed in resting position on the back and thereby produces a hump. But I prefer an extra light that I laid all nose long anyway. The tilt angle to the screen, you can adjust a little by little locked tighter or looser. However, with the result that the reading lamp more or less to the right shifts (s. Above). The light intensity is good, the screen is fully illuminated. However, you have to live with the fact that the top 2 lines are a little too brightly illuminated.
Price: Unbelievable!
Conclusion: Small sacrificing quality are the extremely low price of EUR 8.99 including shipping contrary. (!). One should just think about what you're willing to pay for as a book cover. The original is certainly better, but personally to me in relation to the device simply too expensive. We have two Kindle. And both now stuck in this book cover.
