Featuring a mid-2011 iMac, I do not have USB 3 but I have the Thunderbolt. I have 2 disk FireWire 800 but then it rolls nickel. Time Machine 150 GB in 30 minutes, Lightroom opens super fast.
AT 1 connection we choose the partition type using the wizard. Great.
