Here came a few hours. A clacking noise added to the rotor, it was not a click of a lock but somewhere was really a lot of play, the substitute delivery has confirmed that should not sound quite as the ETA movement.
The clock is really nice, elegant and absolutely timeless, I thought the Plexi-glass dome does not bother, because replacement is procured cheap and fast. However, in everyday life leaves even coarse material fine visible scratches. While these can be quickly polished off, but that bothers the eye sometime too often.
The entire processing is definitely another look just the price does not do justice. I have therefore decided to let the great Bauhaus design behind me to buy a hundred more, and another clock. Sorry Junkers, but if you installed an ETA movement of the rest must also agree.
As ETA-Einstieger clock or for absolute Bauhaus design fans a fitting object of desire!
