All the negative features of its predecessor 603C are eliminated - locking screw, switch also accessible in the plugged-flash, flash is fired even when mounted on the side of the camera. Unfortunately, the item description is incorrect in two points: 1. the parts do not have a tripod socket as described, well maybe not that important. 2. They are not compatible with the predecessor RF-603C - 603C and I both 603CIII and they do not work together, neither as a flash trigger even as camera remote control.
