Buyers stultification

Since Thule sets to each foot-four lock cylinder set ("locks") and two keys
in that will surely be reflected in the sale price.
Thus, the customer always handled around with these keys to the locks at some point
have rotted and worn.
Possibly Thule even hopes that the customer then ordered replacement locks?
But the question is: What about?
For these locks provide as much protection as the lock a door,
you unhooking and leaning against the wall next to the apartment entrance!
This is not because of the inferior quality of the locks, special to the small
Plastic cap with advertising imprint that you non-destructively to each pocket knife
can stand out. And then you look at the screw to release the wearer!
Reasonable would be a screw that had a similar head as a lock screw (as self-built improvement possibly a washer up welding) or
a firmly sealed plastic cap with advertising print, instead of only attachable cap.
But if a thief my roof rack (possibly even with roof box !?) in a few minutes
nondestructive can break without even touching the locks,
then I remember to only the word of my title!
