Product has no battery or as specified battery compartment so that the ca 1m long USB cable is needed to connect it to any (not included) power source. Because the cable is laid, it can not be replaced by a shorter, which I found disturbing for a head lamp. If one is aware, there is a okaye lamp for the price.
