I respect the adaptare cable for my new Samsung S3 (Neukauf 12/2013) over another storefront.
It is high-quality and does a very good visual and tactile impression.
On my S3, the latest software is installed Android 4.3 via Samsung Kies. No root, no fire!
What is also in the description, the audio accessory is enabled in the device settings "output device when in dock over loudspeakers".
You then plugged the cord into the S3, the vehicle mode starts immediately and also recognized by other programs (eg MyProfiles), Audio output is then reliably over the jack (such as music, navigation, speed camera apps, if supported.)
If therefore anyone here for an update on Samsung on the current software still has problems, it may be due to a rooted, branded or otherwise messed-up device by software, but the cable definitely works 100% with my S3.
