The adapter does what he should. He extended a PCIe 1x slot of the chassis. Bad, however, is that he is not locked or tightly seated in the slot. He is very smooth and slipping out of the slot when wobbles too much. I have him blindly tried again to insert into the slot, as everything was occupied it. The Fuerte to that I was able to plug in the cable even wrong. (Verindungen the cable behind the notch in the slot in front of the notch) Result: Short - Mainboard defective.
Summary: Yes, the cable works and is long enough to protrude out of the housing for test cards but beware not stuck blindly to the slot the cable is not perfectly stuck against false secured and easily slips out of the slot.
