In short:
This camera has an infrared filter (IR-cut filter in English). This filter is on the day and off at night (making a little noise characteristic "click"), which enables to see at night thanks to infrared LEDs correctly.
But on this model the infrared filter may stop working over time!
This means that you will not image the night.
By searching on Google ("Night vision is not working FI8910W") will bring many cases like this. So I think this FI8919W version has a problem! So be careful when buying this product.
I have 3 cameras Foscam and I'm used to that mark; 2 rotary internal cameras and 1 outdoor camera. One outdoor camera has this problem - internal cameras bring me satisfaction and do not seem to have this problem.
On Google you can read that many people have the same problem.
Everything worked well in the beginning; Now my camera is unusable at night.
I shall now make as many customers and closer to the service of Foscam hoping it goes well.
