Pro:
-It Is immediately apparent that it is very small and very light (about half as much mass as an iPhone 5)
-The Steady shot looked after the first shots not particularly effective, but in nachhinen it is perfectly adequate.
-For An action cam video quality is really very good to change (except for a restriction, see below) and with longer shots also variable enough to the battery life.
-Although Here claims to the contrary, there is-at least for the Iphone 5 a remote mode in which the settings (shooting angle and quality, as well as the steady-shot settings) can be changed. Can also be switched between video and interval recording.
-The 30Fps are for cutting perfectly adequate
-The Slow Motion is impressive
Contraindications:
-At The worst I find the very extreme blue cast of the camera. So my really pitch black jacket was suddenly dark blue, not so that one could argue about whether blue or black like socks; No! clearly dark blue (but you get that with a suitable editing program and some talent very well veiled
-Another Drawback is that if the steady-shot mode is turned on, you can not turn on the 170 ° mode.
-Ausserdem Is the sound when using the waterproof case, really bad. While there is a connection for an external microphone; This, however, is hidden under a flap, so that, if one uses a micro, the housing can no longer use, so no longer need a contrario the micro, because the built-in mics really good job without any additional housing.
-When The Slow Motion is not an audio track available (Can I cope because I would anyway always cut out my voice in 4-fold slowdown)
As I afterwards anyway edit the videos, I find that the HDR-AS 15 good value for money provides.
The error with the blue cast needs to be fixed for 5 star, but after I was going to send them after the first test already back, I have now decided to keep it, because it makes a lot.
