With the Lumia devices that will change. I'm really impressed with the LUMIA 620 NOKIA. For little money you get offered a lot here: a really good phone: Great voice quality combined with ease of use.
For the operation and commissioning one really introduced user manual. Pictograms on the device and in pointing to how SIM, battery and SD card inserts. Something "fiddly" the whole thing, but doable. If you have installed the hardware everything happens very quickly:
Mobile Phone Start: Log in with the personal MICROSOFT ID ((network and access point was in my case (netzclub) automatically detected)). Enter WLAN key, mail setup (here:. Gmail including Calendar), login Sky-Drive ... In about 1 hour, the whole system is available: incl. Card download, voice control etc.
Further features of the LUMIA 620 I do not want to comment further myself. Here is - I think - enough has been written: Everything in the green to yellow range ,,,.
For OS:
Here NOKIA makes all correct and many competitors all wrong:
Consumer benefit if that OS at Mobile is the same as on the PC ... business I depend on WINDOWS. Very few companies in Germany to work with Mac or Linux systems. ANDROID? No!
The native NOKIA / Microsoft software (such as the navigation / Office) is a further selling point. Simply ingenious, ingeniously simple ....
From personal interests I will be looking forward to the UBUNTU-PHONE ....
Devaluation:
Have the phone will clean inside. The display glass is broken when inserting into the cup. Light thumb pressure to lock the main unit in the shell. A real downfall is the phone probably never survive ...
