The edges have become frayed in a few places a little, but not so bad that it would interfere with optical / haptic (I'm talking about 1-2mm long fringes) is also the bond to rubber mat nachwievor intact everywhere. At the infamous waves I can not really remember now. I had some, but that has subsided after several hours of use. Today's the thing as flat as the desk.
Was used / will with a Logitech MX500 and G500. Both offer, to my mind, a good precision on the pad. Shooter I hardly play, so I can not say much for rapid movements, but with pixel-precise photo editing I meet usually what I want.
Considering the price and the seemingly endless durability (both at least compared to all my predecessors) the best pad that I've ever had / have.
