Had I as described in the instructions a debit card in the first attempt used to uniformly impose the film and avoid the bubbles, then this would probably work. Unfortunately, I was using the spatula included in the package. The result is that the top of the film was then so filthy with the dust of the spatula and no longer clean, I had to remove the film again and could throw away.
Second attempt by debit card: worked - even if it's very annoying when sticking to the Home button and the camera suddenly on the underside of the film suddenly when loosening the carrier film the remains of the cut parts. The reason bequeathed fingerprint that occurs when removing the residual parts, is fortunately in the border area and not in front of the display.
Conclusion: film is cheap and ok - unfortunately there is not in non-glossy films for the iPad 3 too many alternatives.
