Compared to the Transcend TS-RDF5K card reader, which I use for a few months, has this stick some advantages, but it does not reach a better performance. I tested both with both an 'Transcend Premium Class 10 microSDHC 32GB memory card' in two bays, and with a 'Transcend Ultimate SDXC Class 10 speed UHS-1 64GB Memory Card'.
Advantages / Neutral / disadvantages of the Kingston card reader:
+ Look and feel-quality processed
+ Both slots are used simultaneously
+/- Cards are inserted at the back stick. The Transcend blocked by his side bays rather a different slot, if an SD memory card is used. ...
- If only microSD cards are used scores by at this point of Transcend (due to the broader construction of Kingston).
The performance of both readers is virtually identical. I was up to 96 MB / sec (SD card) and 89 MB / sec (microSD) measure reading speed. When writing data, the SD card reached up to 67 MB / sec while the microSD here both in SD slot (in-adapter) as well as the microSD slot of the two readers only to a maximum of 15 MB sec came /. The reason for this, I can not say why I pull no star for Kingston here eventually.

Conclusion: 'Only' 4 stars because of the heat problem. But the fact remains that this is a recommended card reader, since it provides the possibility to simultaneously access two cards to copy data directly for example.
Should you have any questions about specific points of my review, so I will answer this, as I understand this is possible, like in the comments.
