With the normal matte screen I had often times photos with falling lines or images are a bit run into trouble. Then my Canon dealer has advised grid matte screen on the EOS EF-D. The forthcoming exchange caused me first break out in sweat. After reading the manual, it was accurate with the included tool then but actually relatively easy and the whole thing was done with the change in the menu in 2 minutes. I wanted to test only a little and try to take pictures. Now the disk is there and remains there. I can I really just think away difficult. One can when needed easily orient the snapping to the horizontal or vertical lines, but we must also not necessarily. That is, the lines are relatively thin and do not interfere when man the grid does not need time! The disc helps landscape, architecture and cityscapes really on. I think it's good that Canon offers this possibility for the EOS 40D and the ground glass can really recommend it to anyone!
