Since my old HAMA Card Reader is geggangen broken, I was looking for a cheap, simple model. After 2 days it went straight into my mailbox. Unwrapped & infected, everything works great under Ubuntu & Windows (XP / Vista / 7). The device is recognized as a normal removable media. The reader is quite wide, so I am doing it with a USB extension cable - so not 2 USB ports are occupied and I can use my other devices as usual.

I use the card reader for SanDisk SD & SDHC card (2GB, 4GB, 8GB) - everything is wonderful and the thing is now running perfectly well since 2 months.
