I had already bought a similar case for another smartphone from another Seller for a similar price also. This one, sold by PhoneNatic is better bill: thicker material, sewn with larger wire, it has a flap velvet lined inside and is reinforced with a thicker and more rigid plate. The former, to keep the smartphone, has a soft shell. The latter, a rigid shell. The smartphone snaps with moderate effort in the hull. It is well maintained by three clips, one in each bottom, a top center above the earpiece. With a rigid shell shock may be less cushioning. By cons, although the operation requires a certain knack, it is easier to extract the smartphone of its hull. Examples among others, it is an advantage when: - We want to put the smartphone in a car holder for GPS use. - We want to place it on a "dock-in station" also making audio office charger. - We want to use the compass (magnetometer). Indeed, the case is closed by a magnetic latch that some false reading if the compass smarphone still in its case.
(Note: when using the compass, it is also preferable to turn off all radio devices. WiFi, Bluetooth and mobile network antennas Magnetic activity also disrupts a little compass, at least on the Huawei Y550 ... .)
The casing and the shell have openings for different well suited connectors and sensors. For information, the USB connector is not accessible when the case is closed. But it is the best solution in my opinion: when you have the smartphone in your pocket, dust and other debris will return less easily into the socket, and when the smartphone is connected to a PC by USB or charger, you need to see the screen to control, so the case is opened ... Overall satisfied with the product, I would have put the fifth star if: - There was not a magnet which disturbs a little compass. - You could extract the smartphone of its hull even easier ... without any drops of course only ...
