I bought the Yepp Mini and thought joyfully to future trips with my child. I have a hybrid bike.
First allows the Yepp Mini with the normal microphone stand mount is not (because only suitable for straight handlebars, but not for Speedlifter that are tapered as to trekking bikes available). No problem is, is indeed the Ahead adapter, especially for trekking bikes.
After some discussion, in the business of Yepp Mini was mounted on my bike, also looked good, BUT:
If it is mounted, you can no longer drive his bike !!!
It hardly comes close in on the handlebar. The child seat presses a on the chest, so you can still descend neither up properly. At cornering is not to think.
Well ... then it is probably at the wheel because trekking. But no, ultimately coalesced 6 bicycle technician for my bike and the Yepp, with the unanimous quintessence (!):
This thing can be - if - mount only a Altherrenrad large frame height roadworthy.
Neither on a ladies, trekking or touring bike, even on an original Dutch bike (remember, the Yepp Mini is from Holland !!!) can assemble the Yeppmini roadworthy; the angle is too obliquely, the seat is too far back, as that one could ride it. All common frame geometries are much too short for the Yepp Mini. And even if:
The next thing would be, is that the child's head is directly under its own chin (with physical contact!). Depending on the height of the child, it would mean that one has to put his head back.
The whole thing is a bad design, is prohibited, since it can certainly not be approved under traffic laws so. I can only shake my head ... and I'm also remained seated on the seat in the truest sense, because after all the back and forth no return was possible. But only at the margins.
From me, therefore there's a Stay away from this thing! Sry, because a real shame.
