Now a large piece of the coating has come off yesterday, I noticed in time while drinking in the mouth and thus not swallowed. The play was about 4cm long and extremely porous.
How can this happen after such a short time? If it is a case of warranty? Why is there no bottle without this porous coating? These are but a high-tech coating, "the inner coating is extremely elastic. So bumps do not result in cracks in the paint layer and the SIGG bottle remains fully usable." (SIGG website)
All in all it is very annoying, the switch from plastic to SIGG has certainly given me so many hard parts in the stomach before I noticed the lack. By contrast, each plastic bottle is an ecological boon.
