Cereal in Test

Oats is a Spelzgetreide, ie the grain does not fall during threshing from the husks out but remains shrouded by a relatively thick husk. The husks are removed by thermal processes and the oats loses its ability to germinate.
Not so the Naked Oats in order to this is. This Haferart called naked because the husk falls off completely during threshing. The product is basically viable.

The package is hermetically sealed and equipped with an adhesive Fresh closure for resealing. With both I have difficulty. When you read about grain storage, it is always: airy, dry, cool without lights.
Why is this so now in a plastic hermetically sealed? And the bag as such consists of a plastic that tear very easily. I liked the idea with the resealing, but could not be used because the bag continues to tear.

Country of origin of this product is Germany. And it carries the seal of approval Bohlsener mill, for controlled biological Landbbau.
The oats is due to the breeding absolutely spelzfrei and has no visible impurities nor dark oat grains.
The flakes are all fixed, uniformly and certainly visually appealing. Even the bite of the flakes is accordingly enjoyable.
However, I have tried a comparative test with 6 different oat varieties and here are zusammgefaßten results:

EVIL: paper bag, not a naked oat, high contamination of oat husks, high proportion of foreign grains, gently crush the flake, decent bite, very good taste.

Bohlsener mill oats: airtight, tough plastic bag, no naked oat, no visible impurities, however a high percentage of broken grains, flakes crumbled, mealy bite, good taste

Bohlsener mill Nackthafer: airtight easily ripping plastic bag, no visible impurities, clean grain, very fine flakes, excellent bite, average, slightly heuiger taste, bitter taste

Allnatura: paper bag, not a naked oat, no visible impurities, partially broken grains slightly crushing the flake, decent bite, excellent, nutty flavor.

Hofgut Habitzheim: "poor" due to pollution and inedible (batch 2010)

Davert Naked Oats: airtight plastic bag einreißende, no visible impurities, some dark grains, very fine flakes, excellent bite, average taste

There seems to be emerging here, a pattern that naked oat varieties obviously produce the finest flakes are absolutely Spelzfrei, not heat treated, but unfortunately just stand back and taste.

My to have also found that the bitter taste is reduced, the longer the flakes are soaked. The somewhat heuige taste remains, however.

Conclusion:
Can I really do not recommend, because of my view, but bad Verpacktung. Primarily because of the taste, with a bitter finish
