Cover is so far completely waterproof (has been more rain and storm survived). We have it converted into a sleeve for a lounge chair, as there seems to be no case for such large armchair. However, since the shell is a little long, we have laid the sheath end under the chair legs and thus the protective sleeve also does not fly away. We are very happy with the product! Now the shell only needs to survive the winter.
