The housing is made of sturdy plastic, the battery is firmly installed, the matte screen does its job very well.
The notebook comes with little software garbage, so no need to remove too much. Most are Acer programs, then there is a win-Office trial version and MacAffee for one year is also on it.
These two I have deleted and full versions, which I use for some time, transferred via an external drive.
On the back is the LAN port, a USB 2 and the HDMI connector and the power connector.
On the right side is the headphone and a USB 3 port and the SD card slot.
The USB 2 connection I have my wireless mouse connected as I am not a fan of the touchpad and probably never will be a :-)
The notebook is the router very quickly and the internal connection is also built up very quickly.
I want to mainly use this notebook for my music, I have all my CDs to the hard disk and as it is very important that I'm the Bluetooth connection properly and without crashes or jerking of equip. And that works perfectly.
I can connect the notebook in seconds with my conditioning, the sound is very very good.
The 500GB hard drive I have now a lot of space for my music.
The processor, an Intel dual-core processor N2840 (up to 2.58 GHz, 1 MB L2 cache) with Integrated SOC komt quickly reaches its limits, the page generated in Google Chrome goes slowly in front of him, from about 3 open windows at the same time he is but quite slow.
Also, one should not need to do much else during data transfer from an external hard drive via USB 3 .... because it is a bit congested. Well, for over a year I use a I7 laptop that is really like a Goggomobil against a 500 Benz :-) :-)
All in all you can but recommend this notebook at this price with all your heart, the processing is correct, the keyboard responds very well, the notebook is barely audible, the fan is very very quiet and the display also provides great images, crisp and clear ,
We should also mention yet that the anti-reflective display, so dull. His reflection is no longer sees and does not have to attach a film only cumbersome. This is not self-evident for a notebook in this price range.
