What did I expect? A very reasonable and simple follow focus, the change quickly and can be attached to the new lenses. Maybe a couple of occasions to practice the use without risk and then later a "right" to purchase FF. Not necessarily an accessory that meets higher requirements or lasts forever.
What I got? A very simple rubber strip which is meticulously crafted and connected with a simple plastic thread. Functional materials would have to be enough, at least for what you would expect for this price. The packaging was simple and without overprint. But that does not really matter indeed.
Why is this product not recommended? Although the fundamental processing is okay (rubber band has no material errors, spikes are evenly and cleanly manufactured), the quality of the product is not sufficient to work with it to rudimentary. The biggest shortcoming is the oblique curvature of the tape, the coming more like an egg from the box. This wobbles of the Follow Focus extreme and scrubs in part on the lens. Unfortunately, this defect is not allowed by mehrtäges, tightening the focus ring fix. Apparently, the material is too stiff to adopt a new form. In addition, the screw began to spin after twice changing lenses. Also for undemanding users is simply unusable.
I have returned the product therefore.
