The structure designed is simple, the bars are placed on the feet and on the threaded rods to the iron weight is screwed. Last clamped to the stand with the ring nut (already on the thread) firmly and can solve these as needed to rotate the foot.
My main gripe is the thread in iron weight: at one of the stands I could see the bar hardly purely screws because the threads of the weight was very difficult to move in a second stand it was also hard, but in the end were still all four screwed tight and stable.
The speaker cable can be run through the rod, which should be done only when the pedestal is tuned;)
My cable (I think 2.5 mm thick) could be without pulling wire (as in other reviews described) easily slide through the rod, while this should not be extended, that you can insert the wire equal to the inner part.
That the punched hole in the inner rod at the top should not be trimmed properly, I can confirm my copies, with the residual material be easily scraped away with a screwdriver left (be careful!). I do not see really so big problem, because the processing can also be expected in accordance with the reasonable price so.
The attachment of the speaker to the stand you have to improvise depending on the manufacturer well, the posts are for this purpose in many different screws! For the speakers of the Canton Movie 85 CX-2 I used the supplied with this system speaker mounts that are designed more bad than good innately (at least in my opinion, the manual also does not help there, but that's a topic for another review); In order to be secure to the posts described here, I have a rubber washer, a screw and a nut used, the whole is sufficiently stable.
The height adjustment of the stand is slightly out of hand, you should of course have sufficient play with the speaker cords. The plastic locking affects not too cheap and should also keep permanently what it promises; Of course we must do not overtighten, the material is likely to give up doing that is fast!
One more little thing: The plastic head on which the speakers are attached, can be on top of the rod to rotate freely, which is not very apt. The stands are not unstable, but the speakers are actually fix forwards aligned (if necessary turning Yes the stand or the inner rod in the outer). As long as you but does not hit against everything stays in place.
My conclusion: Very good value for money, but the stands are attractively priced. Processing and stability are so mediocre. I would recommend these things definitely, if you eg do not drill or the speaker has then stand in the corner anyway.
